Hi, I'm Prachi Nandi!

I'm currently working as a software engineer at Microsoft under Azure storage Elastic SAN. I am interested in Network-Accelerated Machine Learning Systems like building distributed training infrastructure where communication not computation is the real constraint. To be more specific I am drawn to formulating network control as a constrained optimization problem as a whole. Well, I am currently exploring opportunities for my next academic endeavor. I will be applying to PhD programs and am also open to research roles in industry and academia.

In 2024, I graduated from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela with a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering with honors. I did my undergraduate thesis on vehicular Ad-hoc networks under Dr. P.M Khillar. I was fortunate to work with Dr.Suchismita Chinara at the IoT lab, NIT Rourkela, as an undergrad student researcher and Dr.Timam Ghosh at the Orange Innovation, Paris. Also was a research intern under Software Freedom law center. I had also interned with Microsoft and Wise counsel AI.

When not working, you may find me reading a novel, sketching, playing chess or in gym. Please feel free to get in touch!
